Use of Constructed Wetlands Pond Production, 1992-2002. The general objective of this study was to evaluate the use of constructed wetlands in improving pond water quality and assess the associated benefits and costs in intensive finfish pond production. 

Catfish Pond Production in Non-Delta Areas, 1995-2002. Catfish production in Mississippi, exclusive of the Delta, is concentrated in the Black Belt, mainly in Noxubee, Lowndes and Kemper counties, which are in the heart of the Black Belt.

Freshwater Prawn Alternative Pond Production Systems, 1998-2005. Conducted grow-out pond experiments and developed economic models of alternative pond grow-out systems for freshwter prawns appropriate in the region.

Offshore Aquaculture Production Systems , 2000-2009. Developed economic models of alternative offshore aquaculture production systems for saltwater species appropriate in the Gulf of Mexico and Southern California regions.

Saltwater Shrimp Production Systems, 2001-2009. The overall goal of this project is to evaluate the feasibility of each biosecure marine shrimp production system developed by the member institutions of the U.S. Marine Shrimp Farming Program.

Saltwater Baitfish Production Systems, 2002-2003. The overall goal of this project is to develop an economically viable, small-scale production and marketing system capable of providing a year-round supply of live bait, especially during winter months.
