May 15, 2015

Dear MarketMaker Business Owner/Operator:

My name is Dr. Benedict Posadas, an agricultural economics faculty at Mississippi State University who help manage the National Food MarketMaker Program in the state of Mississippi.  This survey is conducted to collect limited information about your business which are very vital in estimating the economic impacts of the online food marketing program.

You are receiving this letter or email since your food, seafood or tourism business is registered at your state MarketMaker program. You can review the business profile of your food business at the National Food MarketMaker Program at https://foodmarketmaker.com/ and then search by typing your business name.

This survey is conducted by the Mississippi State University, Coastal Research and Extension Center with funding from the Gulf States Marine Fisheries Commission. The results of this survey are important in seeking sponsors to help maintain the National Food MarketMaker Program in your state.

The survey is completely voluntary and you may discontinue your participation at any time. It will take you about five minutes or less to answer the survey. To complete the online survey, please go to:

Very respectfully yours,
